HEADING TO CALIFORNIA // COVID-19

After a lot of thought and consideration, my sister and I (+ bossy) have decided to head to California to be with our family.

Our parents have been really worried about us being so far away and with the city being the epicenter for the outbreak, we know that if we are going to leave it is now or never.

We also haven’t had a working oven or stove since we moved in to our new apartment or hot water making it harder and harder to take care of ourselves here.

This isn’t a decision we are taking lightly and once we land we will be quarantined apart from our family for 14 days to ensure we are healthy before being with them.

These are hard and uncertain times for us all and we are all doing the best that we can with information and resources that we have.

Though I will miss New York, I am grateful to be able to be close to my family at this time and to be spending the next few weeks in California!
